We’re different from most packaging suppliers. We’re not product driven… we’re market driven. Our approach has always been about providing customers with solutions that would best serve their needs. That’s why we developed a “customer intimate” business strategy. The idea was to get close to customers. It required that we first develop a thorough understanding of a customer’s packaging requirements, and then get a clear picture of how they would use the products in their operations. The additional focus on operational processes meant that we could develop custom packaging solutions, that not only satisfied a client’s product requirements, but also helped to improve their business processes, and yield greater operational efficiencies.

Quite often this approach requires that we make investments in time and money at the start of a client relationship in order to reduce the risk for customers. We willingly do this because of the long term scope of our customer relationships.


A Total Packaging Strategy

Consultative selling is the foundation of our customer intimate approach to business. One of the cornerstones of our business model is the knowledge and experience of our packaging consultants, and their ability to thoroughly understand customer needs. They can develop customized packaging solutions utilizing a wide range of unique and diverse products supplied through our “Strategic Manufacturing Network” of more than 20 domestic and global partners. Product solutions are paired with value added services such as SKU consolidation, co-packing, vendor managed inventory, or JIT services, to create a truly customized “Total Packaging Strategy”.


A Strong Supply Chain

Stesco’s multiple-product operational model is supported by a strong supply chain that is competitive, flexible, adaptive, reliable, and secure. We can guarantee product availability and delivery by strategically manufacturing the same product at multiple locations within our network. This avoids potentially disastrous situations such as strikes or power outages. We are also able to aggregate orders to make high volume production runs and pass on the savings to our customers. And with our 65,000 ft2 warehouse and assembly facility, we are able to store and release products to customers as needed.
